GRPC began as a church plant of Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Newark, DE. It became a
particular church in June of 1986 with 35 charter members who met in a local high school.
After growing significantly over a short period of time, the congregation built and moved
into the current facility on December 10, 1989, GRPC was established to be a safe haven
for those longing for peace in their lives. The ideas behind GRPC are witnessed in our
vision statement:
The Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God by
establishing a safe haven for God's people to worship and mature as disciples
in order to effectively engage our culture and other cultures with the
gospel of Christ.
To find out more about
who we are and what we believe, sign up for our
bi-annual Inquirer's Weekend. Attending these classes doesn't
require you to join GRPC, but is a prerequisite to membership. We want
people to understand that the vows they take when they become members
stand for something important.
