Dear members and friends,
GRPC has just been received as a member of ECFA, Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. The ECFA is an
accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public’s trust through adherence to "Seven
Standards of Responsible Stewardship.” Founded in 1979, it is comprised of over 2,000 evangelical Christian
organizations, which qualify for tax-exempt, nonprofit status and receive tax-deductible contributions to support
their work. ECFA’s Standards of Responsible Stewardship focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity
in fundraising, and proper use of charity resources. The process for becoming a member is very detailed and requires
strict financial compliance with the Seven Foundational Pillars. What this means to us is that we have now been sealed
by the top organization in the world for assuring its contributors that their money is spent appropriately, that
the organization and its leadership is rooted in and governed with integrity, and that their money is spent on
the right things and in the right way. Go to www.ecfa.org to learn more about this significant accomplishment.
Congratulations to Scott Winchester, our Business Manager, who guided us through this long process, inclusive
of the required audit and a host of other details to gain this valued seal.
GRPC’s member page may be viewed from the ECFA site at

In His Grip,
