They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching
and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... Every
day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread
in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts... —
Acts 2:42-46
House Churches form the backbone of relationships here at GRPC, helping to make a big
church seem small. All GRPC members are expected to be involved not only in
Sunday morning worship at the "hub" ("the Temple" setting) but also fellowship
in our "spokes" ("their homes"). The Hub-Spokes model
is part of Pastor Betters' original vision.
In a House Church you cultivate friendships in a caring and supportive environment while
growing in your relationship with Jesus Christ. And as you grow, you and your House Church
will be used by God to reach out to others around you.
It's easy to get involved in a House Church. Simply check out the house church list below to find out when and where they meet. Then call the church office or one of the House Church leaders listed (X- or XA- pastors). You are always welcome!

Be Part of the Josiah Project
The Josiah Project is simply a return to reading God's word. In
2 Kings 22-23
Josiah rediscovers the Book of the Law and reads it to all the people. He then leads them in destroying
all the idols in the land and they return to the celebration of the Passover. The Bible says in that passage,
"25 Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did - with all his
heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses."
For 2008, all the house churches are going through a "New Testament in a Year" reading plan, which will be followed
by a reading of the Old Testament in 2009. You may download the New Testament schedule below:
