"Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the
waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of
men in their deceitful scheming. "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things
grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. "
— Ephesians 4:14-15
We offer classes for all ages at the same time as the 9:15 service. Classes are designed
to both challenge and encourage in the study of God's Word. Children and teens have a set curriculum, but
adult electives can be chosen from the list below:

Book of Romans, taught by Bill Strickland
It seems throughout church history that many of the significant moments took place
around Paul's letter to the Romans. Aurelius Augustine, after reading Romans 13:13-14,
received Jesus as Lord and Savior and went on to become one of the church's outstanding
theologians and leaders. The Protestant Reformation began with a monk named Martin Luther
who came to know Jesus after reading Romans 1:17. John Calvin said of the book of Romans,
"When any one gains a knowledge of this Epistle, he has an entrance opened to him to all
the most hidden treasures of Scripture." With that quote as the motivation, we begin our
class with an expositional, verse by verse study of the book of Romans.

Every Man's Battle (Men Only), taught by Patrick Conner
...a Christian approach to male sexual purity and integrity and practical tools to fight the battle.
Every man faces this battle but often chooses to hide or ignore it because it is "too personal" or
"embarrassing." This class will directly and openly address the struggles all men face regarding male
sexual activity and through God's Word provide ways for dealing with this particular battle.
We will be using the book "Every Man's Battle" by Steve Arterburn and Fred Stoeker. Feel free to
look at the overview and week-by-week summary at
http://www.everymansbattle.com.

Pilgrim's Progress (Women Only), taught by Joy Greggo
"The Pilgrim's Progress has been called 'the greatest allegory ever written.' Its appeal
sweeps across the scopes of age, intellect and education. Children read it for the excitement
of the story; eager believers are challenged and trained by its invaluable teaching; Bible
students and scholars alike read it for its depth of doctrine. Charles Spurgeon called it
the most important book in his life, besides Scripture.
"Just as relevant today as it was when John Bunyan wrote it from his cell in prison, 'The
Pilgrim's Progress' is the story of every Christian - from the first stirrings of the Holy
Spirit beckoning us to follow Christ to our final arrival in the Celestial City of God."

The Reformed Faith and the Presbyterian Church, taught by Mike Zimansky
GRPC - I go to the church at Glasgow, but what's with the R and P? This class will explain
what it means to be "Reformed" and "Presbyterian." We will cover topics such as the five
points of Calvinism, why we baptize babies, why we have elders and deacons, the role of women
in church leadership, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, "End-times theology," and more. No text
is required. All you need is a Bible and willingness to challenge your current beliefs.

Senior High School, taught by Michael Shannon and Doug Hilyard
What do we do in those areas where the Bible seem to be unclear? Should we listen to
secular music? Smoke? Drink? How do the Scriptures address these topics? The first half of
this year we will examine what the word of God says about the "gray" areas and how to make
those decisions easy. Join us for the "E's of decision making."
